This Little Gem Crystal Radio was built in the early 1920’s by the Metro Electric Co. of Newark, NJ.
This is untested and I’m selling it “as is” but all crystal radios are simple, so if you have an outside antenna and high impedance headphones, you could test it out.
The tripod legs are in very nice condition with no signs of cracking. Occasionally a 1920’s tripod crystal set will have tripod legs that were poorly manufactured and have started to crack. No so with this crystal radio; the legs are completely free of cracks.
I will pack this crystal set well for the buyer.
