Description
This listing is for a snout repair kit.  Includes bearings, seal, coupler, etc.
Coupler replacement is a must, but if that doesn’t stop the rattle then the bearings need to be replaced.  They are pressed into the snout, so you will need to have a hydraulic press to install them.  You will also need a supercharger pulley puller which we sell to remove the supercharger pulley.  If you use a gear puller or 3 jaw puller you can remove the pulley, but you will damage it and you will not be able to reuse it.

(We used to carry the Eaton Snout Seal, but had so many customers say they would rip the seal to the shaft on installation, so we came up with a better seal that is easier to install that won’t rip easily)
– Two 4 oz bottles of original GM Supercharger oil
– .5oz RTV to reseal snout back to supercharger
– Syringe with tube to remove oil from snout prior to removing snout so stinky old oil doesn’t run all over your engine bay!

I would highly recommend you remove the bearings from the snout before purchasing and compare the bearings you have to what is pictured.
There are some odd ball, or uncommon variations from older M90 superchargers that have two large bearings instead of one small and one large.
This is very rare though.
